Here in the North East, the only way to keep you expesive rims perfect was buying inexpensive used wheels at the salvage yard... that was the days of the hubcaps and steel rims. See Video!

Now a days, most vehicles come with clear coated, polished or painted rims. With the advent of installing four winter tires on front wheel drive cars, swapping winter tires and summer, (all season tires - Sure they are) can be an expensive proposition each year. A couple of years ago I decided to try Amsoil HD Metal Protector. The apication was simple enough. It was the removal that surprised me.

Amsoil HD Metal protectant looks Ok and really does protect my wheels. This is the second year I have applied the protectant and found more is not better. (more work to remove)
