. On my way to Church, I noticed shiny vehicles going by. Yes, it's that time of year to give your vehicle a coat of wax. Ok, you can stop groaning. There are easier and quicker ways to wax a car than “wax on, wax off.” all by hand. There are electric polishers that can save the day. I started with a five-inch corded polisher. (the polisher copies the motion of your hand polishing at a much faster pace) The polisher has soft pads to apply the wax, or they may have to be purchased separately. Your first step is to make sure your car is clean. You don't have to wash your ride if it's not too dirty. I sometimes just wipe the vehicle with a clean towel. I use Amsoil Miracle Wash for quick Cleanup if I have already waxed the vehicle (Miracle wash applies a light coat of wax too) Meguiars cleaner/wax. You don't get a wax build-up, and the wax tends to clean, also. Also, remember, more is not better when applying the wax. When applying, you can put some on the car and the pad. If you have too much, it will splatter. Now, simply go back and forth across the surface in a pattern to cover the entire area. Obviously, your next step is to wipe the wax off. I like to use old bathroom towels; they are soft yet have a rough surface. Also, don't forget to wax headlights and taillights. The wax will help seal the protective coating on the headlights. If you want to do this task quicker, cordless eleven-inch polishers are available. They Save time- I waxed two trucks and a car in one afternoon! Happy Motoring!
